Canada Post Strike and Kinsmen TV Bingo

Belleville Kinsmen TV Bingo relies on the Canadian Postal System for the receipt of winning cards and the delivery of prize payments to our winners.  It is through no fault of Belleville Kinsmen TV Bingo nor its patrons that CUPW and Canada Post are not able to reach an agreement and that postal service has been disrupted.

It has been determined by the Belleville Kinsmen that there is no economic alternative for us to receive winning cards and deliver prize payments until postal service resumes.  We will continue to operate Kinsmen TV Bingo as scheduled during the postal strike and process winning cards and payments once mail service resumes.  Kinsmen TV Bingo cards are distributed to our retail outlets via a private contractor and continue to be replenished.

We ask that you please hold on to your winning cards and mail them to us once the postal strike comes to an end.  For winning cards already received, your cheques will be placed in the mail at the earliest possible time following the resumption of mail delivery.

Under no circumstances will a potential winner be denied their prize because their card was received after the 10-day delivery deadline.  We recognize that once service resumes, there will be a short delay until the backlog of mail is delivered.  We ask for your patience and appreciate your understanding.

The Kinsmen Club of Belleville was chartered in 1934 and is celebrating 76 years of Serving the Quinte Community this fall!
